Book It Kick Off!!!

Tomorrow starts the Book It Reading Program.  Your child will have to read 20 minutes each weekday night, meet our class reading goal and have the opportunity to earn a FREE Personal Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut.  Year after year I have watched students grow to love reading because of this Book It Program.  I ask that you log your child's reading time on the reading log and initial each night.  The reading log is to be keep in your child's homework folder.  If you have any questions, feel free to contact me via email at njones@theeoccs.org or via telephone at 973-676-1199 ext. 277.

Thank You,

Garbage In, Garbage Out

Children See Children Do video clip

There is an old saying, “Garbage In, Garbage Out”.  Let’s be mindful of what we put in our children.  What we put in, is what we get out.  This video is a perfect way to visualize the impact we have on our children.  Let’s keep it positive and remember - “You are your child’s first teacher!”
